Water softening

At water treatment plants water softeners are used to soften drinking water. Rook Pijpleidingbouw is experienced in the construction of different types of softening installations.

Softening installations and drinking water installations

At our drinking water treatment systems, the pre-purified water is softened using pellet softening reactors. Pellets (small, hard, lime balls) are the residual product that remains after water has been softened. Our softening installations are equipped with a lime milk or caustic soda dosage, a fine-grain sand storage and a fine-grain sand washer and pellet bunker.
